Music Lessons in Sydney's Northern Suburbs
Richard began playing guitar at around age 15 learning solos from the albums of Cream, Jimi Hendrix, Deep Purple, Johnny Winter and many others.

This work held him in good stead and soon after leaving school he found himself playing with classic Aussie rock band Pirana from 1972 to 1975. While touring all states of Australia Pirana supported many overseas acts including Pink Floyd, Deep Purple, Free, Procul Harem, Elton John and Rod Stewart, and played at the '73 and '74 Sunbury Pop Festivals.

After Pirana disbanded in 1975 Richard continued playing and touring with performers such as Jeff St John until 1980 when he began teaching guitar privately in the local area. After many years teaching a career change was in order and Richard entered the world of IT as a computer programmer, a career which continued until 2011 when he decided it was time to return to his first love Music.

In 2012 Richard resumed teaching Guitar and also Violin. Tuition is available in both instruments for AMEB Examinations or just for the fun of learning an instrument and playing the music you love. All styles are catered for from Classical to Rock, Blues, Jazz and also Bass Guitar.

Lessons are $35 per half hour
